Kim quickly became an invaluable member of the team. Her keen eye for detail and meticulous organizational skills keeps the business side of Liptons running smoothly, while her positive attitude and welcoming personality make every day at Liptons feel like a day amongst family.

Lindsay started in the industry at the age of 17 working part time in sales (Jacobi TV @ Fairview Mall ) because he had a passion for music, and the equipment that made it happen. Moved on to work in a number of shops and continued climbing up the ranks until he was running a chain of 9 electronics stores in the GTA in his early 20’s. This strong foundation of experience led him to strike out on his own and open Liptons in 1983. His vision was to bring the best of music and the growing video field, to York Region residents. Over the years Liptons has become so much more than he ever thought possible. Liptons is a business families from all over the GTA trust and keep coming back to. While big box & chain stores may turn over as quickly as their staff, Liptons is a place people can keep coming back to.

He started his career in electronics working in locations all across the GTA but ultimately found his home here because of our friendly working atmosphere, excellent customer relationships and ideal location in the heart of Newmarket. Malcolm has been instrumental in shaping the mix of products that Liptons displays and stands behind.
